飛樂時空 Music Express 15 Finals this Sunday, 23rd Aug @ NAFA!
Dear all,
NTU’s annual songwriting competition, Music Express 15, will be held at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Bencoolen Street), this Sunday, 23rd August 2009 @ 7pm.
Our very own VI talents will be performing the opening theme song for the event. Hope to see all of you there!

FYSK 15 Roadshow @ NLB (23rd May 2009)
非樂時空 The Music Express 15 held their roadshow at NLB (Bugis) today. VI talents were there to support the event with performances. This time, we also had a couple of guitarists perform with us for this event.

This year holds special meaning to VI. In ancient Roman numerals, “VI” stands for 6. And this year, VI Music is celebrating its 6th anniversary!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO VI MUSIC! The official birthday is tomorrow, 21st May!
We were at Compass Dinner on 17th May 2009 at the Raffles City Convention Centre.
So we decided to hold a surprise mini celebration at the dinner. Yummy cake below!

New Pop Guitar Course
Just to update on the guitar course…
VI Music is launching a new programme this month, “New Pop Guitar Course“.
This course is specially designed for music lovers to pick up an instrument playing skill in the shortest time. And also get the chance to experience playing guitar with keyboard as a complement, live studio recording and even music composing.
Course syllabus includes:
Strum & Sing
Complement Playing with Keyboard
Guitar Music Composing
Studio Track Recording
Period: 3 months / Level
Duration: 1 – 1.5 hr / session / week
Class Size: 3 – 6 students

飛樂時空 Music Express 15 Media Launch @ Biopolis
Hi! 飛樂時空 Music Express 15 is jointly organized by NTU’s Chinese Society and VI Music. This is VI’s 4th year of collaboration with NTU.
This competition aims to discover music talents from around the region and encompasses 2 categories:
1. Original song composition and lyrics writing
2. Lyrics writing based on an original composition provided by VI Music.
We were at its media launch on 28th March this year. Below are some of the snap shots from the event.

Backtrack a little…haha
Apart from our writer-Koksong’s recent release of his composition in Jordon 陳小春’s new album 獨家記憶, just to backtrack a little (actually not really a little lah…:p), 2 of our writers- Melvin and Mark have also done us proud. Below are the details of the release of their compositions.
2006- October
Congrats to Melvin Tan Jes Wee 陳界維 and Mark Shi Yu Chun 施于淳 for successfully published their song in Evonne Xu Hui Xin 許慧欣 album Track 3, Pei Ni Deng Tian Liang 陪你等天亮.
2007- July
Congrats to our composer-Mark Shi 施于淳 for successfully published his song 空窗— (Track 4) in 辛晓琪 new album-爱的回答.
These are our accomplishments over the years and we are proud that VI’s writers have received compliments for their hardwork and creativity.
